Melodies and Memories Global Limited has proposed system solution, Broadcasting Music Data Reporting System, for the era of Digital Broadcasting.
The system, which consists of “ Digital Cue Sheet System” linked with “Melodies System”, makes Broadcasting Stations’ reporting work and Collecting societies’ copyright management effective and efficient.
Since June 2001, JASRAC(Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composes and Publishers) and NAB(The National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan) has started On-Air Log Reporting Test to establish and inspect this system.

“Digital Cue Sheet System” manages On-Air Log Data, especially which songs are broadcasted. Cue Sheet system is linked with Melodies Database in the broadcasting station and refers to music information of Melodies System.
As cue sheets are created, reporting data for JASRAC is also created and transmitted to JASRAC by network.
Therefore, it is easy and efficient for JASRAC to manage all of broadcasting music data at all of broadcasting stations accurately. |
